Juha began his career at the rental house Angel Films at the turn of the millennium and has never looked back. Over the years, he has built an extensive network of contacts across Europe and beyond, and his CV proudly lists close to a hundred productions of all sizes.
Juha spent the first part of the current decade at Valofirma, where he played a key role in building, maintaining and developing their grip department. Re-energized and motivated – now approaching fifty – he is in the best shape of his life and once again ready to give his all on set.
Known as a friendly and reliable presence, Juha fits seamlessly into any crew. But a word of warning: once he gets going, his sense of humor and endless “war stories” might keep you entertained—or trapped—for longer than you expected.

Vellu started out as a trainee back in 2012, learning the ropes from Finland’s seasoned gaffers and key grips across a wide range of projects and roles. His breakthrough came on The Unknown Soldier (2017), where he proved himself under demanding conditions. Since then, he has worked as a dolly grip and key grip on countless TV shows, feature films and commercials.

What sets Vellu apart is his calm presence that naturally spreads to those around him. He’s the kind of person who puts the team before himself, always ready to lend a hand and bring a reassuring energy to the set. Strong and quiet, but with a sense of humor – that’s Vellu in a nutshell.
In 2023, he took on the role of key grip in the international co-production Get Away, showing his eagerness to keep learning and test his skills among the very best. In recent years, he’s gained growing recognition, winning the trust of both up-and-coming and experienced cinematographers alike.
Never one to shout for attention, Vellu earns respect in his own steady way – building lasting, reliable working relationships that stand the test of time.

Ever since bursting onto the scene at the turn of the decade, Otto has gone from strength to strength. After honing his skills under several experienced key grips for a couple of years, he soon stepped up to the challenge of serving as key grip on his first feature-length production on his own.

Having earned his stripes, Otto was quickly recruited for a spell, by the grip department at Valofirma, and his calendar has been nearly fully booked ever since. Not a single bad word has been spoken about him — he has proven himself a talented grip and an all-round great personality. Productions of all sizes, have praised his positive energy.
In 2022 Otto described signing on to Last To Brake, as a big gamble. But in the end, the six-part drama series — an international co-production depicting the life, career and death of the Finnish motorcycle racer Jarno Saarinen – only built his confidence. His innovative rigs for the vintage motorcycles were so impressive they were later displayed at MP-messut, the local motorcycle expo in Helsinki — a true testament to a job well done.
Otto’s high spirits are felt across the crew — and if you spot a pool table nearby, chances are he’s already lining up the break.
